In late September, GlobalFlyte President, Tim Shaw and Chief Executive Officer, Roger Mann were invited to Texas A&M University as finalists for a Department of Defense (DoD) Domestic Preparedness Support Initiative and Defense to Response Technology Grant Program. This program selects technologies, to showcase and to fund, that enhance public safety and homeland security. Twelve companies, from all over the world, were selected to participate through a very competitive proposal solicitation process. Three companies of the twelve finalists will receive funding.
Tim Shaw stated that the experience was incredible and demonstrating GlobalFlyte’s suite of technologies at the world’s largest responder training, testing and proving ground (Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service -TEEX) was a perfect validation for the incredible public safety and homeland security technologies our entire team has worked so hard to build.
