Roger Mann

CEO – GlobalFlyte, Executive Vice President – SP Global

As GlobalFlyte’s CEO, and co-founder & EVP of SP Global, Roger is a seasoned executive with both global public enterprise and entrepreneurial successes. Roger brings over 30 years of advanced technology development, program management, systems engineering and technology commercialization with Lockheed Martin and General Electric (GE Aerospace Group acquired by Lockheed Martin).

As Lockheed Martin’s Managing Director of Enterprise IT R&D, Roger applied agile systems engineering methods on a portfolio of innovations ranging from 3D mixed reality to fused map, imagery and signals intelligence. Additionally, Roger captured and managed a $2.5 Billion program to transform a national geospatial-intelligence enterprise, and managed US and International Law Enforcement and Public Safety solutions including technical partner relations. He has served as Strategic Advisory Board and Planning Committee representative for the Open Geospatial Consortium for 10 years.

Roger is currently a certified PMP by the Project Management Institute and was a Level 3 Certified Program Manager (PMP) while at Lockheed Martin. Roger received Lockheed Martin’s highest corporate honor – the Nova Award –  three times.  Prior to his industry career, Roger was a Weapons Officer, a qualified nuclear engineer and US Navy Achievement Award recipient. Roger holds a BSEE from Cornell University, MSSE from Virginia Tech and has been a IEEE member since 1987.  He attended Goizueta/Emory University & Smith/University of Maryland Executive Leadership Programs.
